Shhh...this is my secret stash of adorable cards, all made from scratch in photoshop so they're unlike anything else your friends will have. Pick a template and I'll add your favorite photos and custom wording then e-mail you the high-resolution JPG file. Upload the JPG to any photo lab and print as many digital pictures of your card as you'd like for pennies!

Pricing includes adding your family pictures, changing minimal greeting text and inserting the family name(s).
Additional customization is extra. Some word art designs cannot be changed.

Ordering:

Please e-mail your order request to shantasilver@charmingsilverdesigns.com with the template design name and number,
the details about how you'd like your family name to appear and your photos attached to the e-mail.
Your images must be high-resolution 300 dpi digital images.
A PayPal invoice will follow all e-mail orders unless other payment arrangements are requested.

What You Will Recieve: You are purchasing an intangible digital design that will be e-mailed to you in JPG format with a copyright release from Shantá Silver, the original designer, to print as many copies as you would like.
You are not ordering actual prints. You are not purchasing a digital template.
Please allow seven full days for the customization of your holiday card.

Helpful Hints:

Designing: Select the photo you wish to use before choosing a template to ensure they are a good match. Be aware that if the template has horizontal frames and your photo is vertical, you may have to select a different design or pay for customization.
For a more unique card, select a candid photo or opt for less traditional wording like what is shown on some of our example designs above. You'll love the end result!

Photo Touch-Ups: Lots of people are going to see your holiday cards so I'm offering significantly reduced prices for photo touch-ups:

Basic Blemish Removal: FREE with holiday card orders only
Extended Touch Ups, Tooth Whitening & Eye Brightening (Natural Look): $5 per image with holiday card orders only
Advanced Touch Ups with Makeup Enhancement & Skin Airbrushing for Mom: $10 per image with holiday card orders only

Please name the photo touch-up package you want when you e-mail your original order so I can include it on your invoice.

Size Selection: All of my templates are created as 5x7's. The original template is shrunk if a 4x6 is ordered. Keep in mind that a 4x6 card will not have room for more than a three word greeting and the family's last name. In my opinion the extra printing cost for 5x7's is worth having the larger photos and a longer, more personal greeting.

Template Appearance: When you print an image, the photo lab machine will frequently cut off parts of the picture or design too close to the edge because of slight calibrating errors. My templates have generous "bleed room" along all four edges to allow for poor cutting without ruining the overall design of the card. Because of this there will appear to be extra room on the template when in reality, the finished print will have the excess cropped away. Bleed room cannot be filled with additional text.
Most local photo lab machines will slightly darken the colors as it prints. Your JPG card will be enhanced to prevent this type of discoloring. Prints being ordered from a premium lab through Kelsey Call Photography will not need these special additions so please inform me if you are ordering prints from her.

Printing: Your JPG image can be uploaded online to print at any photo lab, including Sam's Club and Wal-Mart.
For best results opt for the Matte or Luster finish. (Glossy finishes cast glare and look unprofessional on cards.)
Your image has been flawlessly sized and optimized for printing by an experienced graphic designer in the world's leading photography software. If you have any problems with color degradation or excessive cutting that removes part of the design, it is due to faulty photo lab equipment. Speak with the lab manager and request a free re-print of your order.

Envelopes & Mailing: Envelopes for mailing both 4x6 and 5x7 cards are available at office supply stores, Target and Wal-Mart. Office Supply stores typically have a selection of ivory mailing envelopes that give your cards a nice presentation.
Select envelope size #A9 (5.75 in x 8.75 in) for mailing 5x7 prints.
Both sizes can be mailed using a standard First Class stamp.

Misc:

Some holiday card designs use commercial digital products made by other designers that were purchased with special licenses for just this use.
The designers are aware of my use of their commercial products however my vast collection of personal digital scrap supplies cannot be used for making templates or custom cards to sell. Instead I offer Photoshop lessons at $8 per hour which include instruction on how to create your own layouts & holiday cards.
You will need to purchase and download your own digital scrap supplies.
